Editing Random Ride

[[Random Ride]] is a mini-game found in ''[[Mario Party 5]]''.

This game is mostly luck-based. Each player has to pick a name from a list of competitors for a race. While better the name, more chances will this machine have of winning the race. The player who correctly picked the winner is the victor. Each player is given five seconds to pick a machine. Machines may not make it to the finish either because their engine explodes or because they are hit by a [[Bullet Bill]].

One of the interesting things this game offers is not only the amount of names there are, but also that it includes an introduction with a [[Koopa]] talking. Other nice things this mini-game offers are the five completely different machine designs, the small audience and the eye-catching backgrounds seen during the race. For example, there is an air balloon with [[Whomps]] on it, and there's another with a [[Shy Guy]] or a Koopa in it.

It's also interesting to note a [[Lakitu]] holding a camera on its rod films the players during the race and when one of the players win.

There's also cases in which the player's or a characters' machine is hit or whose engine explodes and goes off-screen, but in the end wins.
