Rammerheads are shark enemies that appear in Super Mario 3D World and Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. They resemble hammerhead sharks with wide, studded heads similar to spiked rollers, with their eyes on the farthest ends of them. They are adrab purple and typically swim in circles, emulating Fire Bars. In dimly lit areas, their bodies appear luminescent.
Rammerheads are semi-rare enemies from Super Mario 3D World and Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. Their name is a portmanteau of "hammerhead" and "rammer". They only appear in three levels: Rammerhead Reef, Captain Toad Makes a Splash, and Pipeline Boom Lagoon.

Only the heads of Rammerheads causes damage—the rest of their bodies is undamaging. They are defeated only when struck by the player character in their Invincible form or if Ground Pounded in their Lucky Cat form. In the original Super Mario 3D World campaign, Rammerheads appear in three courses: Captain Toad Makes a Splash, Rammerhead Reef, and Pipeline Boom Lagoon. While most Rammerheads are large sharks, the one in the foremost course is about the same size as Captain Toad. It is also the only normal Rammerhead in the game that breaches from water, and Captain Toad has no means of defeating it.
Rammerheads are pink or purple hammerhead shark-like fish with wide, spiked, roll-shaped snouts. They come in two sizes: the big ones are common, while the small ones are rare. These enemies have three types of attacks: some swim in a predetermined pattern, some swim around stones, and others jump out of the water. Only the spiked portion of their heads cause damage; their bodies themselves are harmless. They can only be defeated by Invincibility or by Ground Pounding on them in the Lucky Cat form.

The English name "Rammerhead" seems to be a portmanteau of "hammerhead" and "ram." On the Mario Portal Game Archive for the original Super Mario 3D World, the one from Captain Toad Makes a Splash is referred to as the "Small Rammerhead," whereas that name is applied to the more recurring pink ones  in the Super Mario Bros. Encyclopedia and the Mario Portal Game Archive for Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury.
They also appear in Lake Lapcat in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury in cat form. They are functionally identical to their standard counterparts, but appear with fur, pointed ears, and a tail.
