The course uses the same aesthetics as the Ghost Valley courses from ''[[Super Mario Kart]]'', but with a completely different layout. This course also contains many staircases that are similar to the ones seen in [[DS Luigi's Mansion]] and some ramps. The course starts out with a staircase and a short fall. After the fall, there are some [[Item Box]]es and two turns to the left which lead to another staircase. Next, there is a section with three ramps and another left turn that leads to some more staircases and Item Boxes. After that, there is a split path: the first path contains a staircase and a short fall while the second path only has a single ramp. Finally, there is a right turn with a ramp and some more Item Boxes which lead to more stairs and the [[Finish Line]].

The course also appears as '''RMX Ghost Valley 1R''' (reversed), '''RMX Ghost Valley 1T''' (with ramps) and '''RMX Ghost Valley 1R/T''' (reversed with ramps); the first two debuted alongside the normal variant in the [[Kamek Tour]], while the last debuted in the [[Toad vs. Toadette Tour]].
