'''Purple Coin Beach Dash''' is the third mission of the [[Starshine Beach Galaxy]] in ''[[Super Mario Galaxy 2]]''. This mission can only be played if the [[Comet Medal]] was collected during the [[Surf, Sand, and Silver Stars|first mission]] and while a [[Prankster Comet]] is in orbit.
==Mission==
The [[Prankster Comet#Purple Comet|Purple Comet]] must be in orbit in order to select this mission. The player will land on the Starshine Beach Planet. They should then proceed forward and crack open the [[Yoshi's Egg|Yoshi egg]]. With the help of the [[Dash Pepper]], the player and [[Yoshi]] must collect 100 of the 140 Purple Coins within 35 seconds, the shortest time limit of any timed Purple Coin mission.
