Pungry is a furtive sunglasses and beanie-sporting Puni who is found in the Great Tree shop in the game Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. His name is likely a portmanteau of "Puni" and "hungry". He shares traits with cartoon burglars or spy, having a surreptitious personality and attire.

He accompanies Pungent in his shop. During the events of Chapter 2, he says that the X-Nauts had been "desperately searching for something," but he did not know what. He also tells Mario that he camouflaged the shop entrance, which seems to have allowed him and Pungent to avoid detection by the X-Nauts when they took over the tree.
Pungry (who assumes the name The Mover in the Pit of 100 Trials) is a Puni who is found in both the Great Tree shop and on random floors in the Pit of 100 Trials in the game Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.

Pungry's design is the same as the Movers who reside in the Pit of 100 Trials.
If and when Mario finds him in the Pit of 100 Trials, he can advance Mario further down the Pit, or warp back up to the top. For ten Coins, Mario could go two floors deeper. For thirty Coins, Mario could go five floors deeper. Pungry could also return Mario to the entrance of the Pit for ten Coins. He makes Mario close his eyes so he will not know where the secret passage is at.
