They wear football helmets that conceal most of their body and wield a pair of boxing gloves to attack their opponents. Punches are one of the most common enemies in the game, along with [[Pirate Goom]]s. Their attack pattern consists of walking from side to side and trying to hit [[Wario]] with their fists. Like Pirate Gooms, Wario cannot [[Dash Attack|Dash]] into them head-on while they are moving, but they are safe to touch from any other side. Unlike Pirate Gooms, however, Punches become harmless whenever they stop moving. Getting hit by a Punch's attack will cause Wario to lose some [[coin]]s.

Punches are members of the Black Sugar Gang in this game. Along with the [[Pirate Goom]]s they are one of the most encountered enemies of the game. Their attack pattern mostly resembles that of a Pirate Goom, meaning that they walk from side to side and try to attack Wario with their respective weapon. Getting hit by a Punch's attack will cause Wario to lose some coins.
