The Pumpkin Zone | The Pumpkin Zone is one of the many worlds found in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. It consists of four stages and two bonus stages (not hidden stages). From the outside it resembles a giant jack-o-lantern in a spooky forest. Pumpkin Zone is usually considered a mildly difficult World.
The two bonus stages are accessed from stages two and three | Pumpkin Zone takes place inside a giant jack-o-lantern, hence the name. However, it revolves around a spooky forest. Stage one actually takes place in such a forest, and features perplexing enemies such as Spooky Masks and Boos. Stage two takes place in a haunted cemetery full of living flames Cyclopes and other spooky creatures. Stage three is set in a haunted schoolhouse containing Boos and undead Goombas. Stage four takes place in a witch's hut; the boss of stage four (and therefore this zone) is the concerning witch. The two bonus stages are accessed from stages two and three respectively. When the first bonus stage is completed, the eyes on the pumpkin will light up respectively, and when the second bonus stage is complete, the gravestones on the background screen will become Boo Buddies and will start to dance.

The Pumpkin Zone may be considered to be the most "normal" of the zones, as nothing out-of-the-ordinary occurs there, and it is not odd like the Mario Zone or Tree Zone.
