Professor E. Gadd is a supporting character in ''Luigi's Mansion'' and [[Luigi's Mansion (Nintendo 3DS)|its remake]]. He is first seen saving Luigi from a [[Gold Ghost]] using his invention, the [[Poltergust 3000]]. The professor researches ghosts in the lab nearby. Upon learning of [[Mario]]'s whereabouts, E. Gadd gives Luigi both the Poltergust 3000 as well as the [[Game Boy Horror]] for communication. E. Gadd continues to help Luigi for the remainder of the journey.
