Prior to the start of the game, he, along with all the other Pi'illos, is encased in a [[Nightmare Chunk]] by [[Antasma]] and the [[Dark Stone]]. While attempting to save [[Princess Peach]] from [[Dreamy Pi'illo Castle]], he is rescued by [[Mario]] and [[Dreamy Luigi]], and is brought out of the [[Dream World]], where he explains the predicament. For the remainder of the game, he serves as a guide for Mario and [[Luigi]], in a similar manner to that of [[Starlow]], providing explanations and additional information whenever needed. Unlike Starlow, he is able to enter the Dream World to provide information there as well. His name is a pun on "dream" and either "Robert" or "Albert."
