Pot Cannons are objects seen in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. They are notable for being the first-ever helpful cannon seen in a Mario game. (Harmful, Cannonball-shooting cannons previously appeared in Super Mario Bros. 3.)
Pot cannons are objects in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and its remake. They are cannons with eyes painted on them. Pot cannons are used mainly in Land's End. Mario can enter one by jumping into it, then the pot cannon starts moving in three directions (forward, backward, and upward), clicking as it moves. Mario can launch himself forward by jumping while inside the pot cannon. If Mario's jump is timed perfectly with the click, he can blast farther than usual.

Names in other languages
As their name suggests, Pot Cannons are pot-like cannons. They also have eyes that seem to serve only for decorative purposes. Their ends can also be thought of as mouths (as Pot Cannons seem to have a deliberately humanoid look).

Mario can enter a Pot Cannon just as he would a Warp Pipe (by jumping onto it and pressing "Down"). After Mario is loaded in the Cannon, it will start moving in three directions (forward, backward, and upward), clicking as it moves. By jumping while inside the Pot Cannon, Mario can launch himself forward (and, if he times his jump perfectly with the click, he can blast himself super-far).
