The introduction shows the team and the solo player each inflating their balloons slightly.
The introduction shows each player inflating their balloon a bit to start with.


The goal of the minigame is for one side to pop their balloon by inflating it. The group players work together by [[Ground Pound|ground-pound]]ing their pumps to inflate and eventually pop their balloon, while the solo player must repeatedly hammer their pump to pop theirs. The group players can pump more air in their balloon if they ground-pound from the highest point of their [[jump]]. The side that pops its balloon first wins. If both sides pop their balloons simultaneously or if five minutes pass, the minigame ends in a tie.

The whole point of the game is for the players pop their balloons faster, whoever does this first, wins. The three players work together to pop their balloon by ground pounding with double {{button|gcn|A}} on some pumps. While the other player tries to pop his or her balloon by hammering on a pump by repeatedly pressing {{button|gcn|A}}.
