'''Plessie's Plunging Falls''', otherwise known as '''World 1-4''', is the fourth standard course of [[World 1 (Super Mario 3D World)|World 1]] in ''[[Super Mario 3D World]]'' and its Nintendo Switch port ''[[Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury]]''. It takes place in a large river, and introduces [[Plessie]]. It is unlocked by completing [[Mount Beanpole]] and its own completion unlocks [[Bowser's Highway Showdown]] if cleared before [[Switch Scramble Circus]]. The music that plays when riding on Plessie (which is named after the level in the [[Super Mario 3D World Original Soundtrack|soundtrack]]) is an arrangement of "[[Slider]]" from ''[[Super Mario 64]]''.

==Layout==
The course begins with the players on a wooden platform along with Plessie. The river itself contains many speed-boosting platforms and [[Splounder]]s. A [[1-Up Mushroom]] which requires good navigation to collect can also be found nearby. After some more Splounders and a zigzag water current, Plessie must fall down an abyss to reach a beach and a nearby pipe which contains the [[Goal Pole]].

==Collectables==
It is impossible to collect both the second Green Star and the Stamp in one run due to both being on different paths.
