Pitifall is a luck-based Duel minigame found in Mario Party 6. Its name is a portmanteau of "pitiful" and "pitfall."

Gameplay
The goal of the minigame is to swing from a rope and land on the platform that the players cannot see. Three Shy Guys are holding three ropes. Both players have to pick one of them. The players swing, holding on to the ropes and letting go, which is done automatically. If both players fail to land on the platform, a Fly Guy randomly picks up one of the players, and that player wins.
The whole point of the game is to swing from a rope and land on one of the previously invisible platforms. Three Shy Guys are holding up three ropes both of the two players have to pick one of them, it is notifiable that if one of the players chooses the middle rope, he/she will have the most likely chance of winning. Then the players would swing, holding on to the ropes, and let go at the right time,(the letting go is done automatically). If both players don't land on the platform, a Fly Guy would pick up the one that was closer to the platform and he/she would win. But if the platform was in the middle, and no player chose the middle rope, then the who wins would be chosen randomly.

In the PAL version of Mario Party 6, Pitifall does not appear in Endurance Alley.
