Three nameless Pirate Gooms are introduced in ''[[Wario Land II]]'' as [[Captain Syrup]]'s sidekicks that steal the treasure of [[Wario Castle]]. They wear striped bandannas instead, are a lighter color, and wield tridents instead of spears. The [[giant spear man]], an abnormally large Pirate Goom, is fought several times and serves as the game's "[[Steal the Syrup's treasure!!#Final Boss Battle: Giant spear man|really final]]" boss.
