In ''[[Mario Party 6]]'' and ''[[Mario Party 7]]'', it became the '''Piranha Plant Orb''' that players could only place on a space (and costs fifteen coins at the [[Orb Shop]]). Opponents that landed on a space containing the Orb again got eaten by a Piranha Plant and lost half their coins, but the owner of that space received the coins.
