A '''Pineapple''' is a [[fruit]] that appears throughout the ''[[Mario (franchise)|Mario]]'' and [[Donkey Kong (franchise)|''Donkey Kong'']] franchises.

In ''[[The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!]]'' episode, "[[Too Hot to Handle]]," a pineapple patch grew on [[Waki-Waki]]. [[Mario]], [[Luigi]], and [[Toad]] used the pineapples as projectiles against [[Bowser|King Koopa's]] [[Shy Guy]]s in the same manner they used [[vegetable]]s in ''[[Super Mario Bros. 2]]''.

In ''[[Donkey Kong Circus]]'', [[Donkey Kong]] juggles pineapples in order to entertain Mario and large crowds of people. Donkey Kong did this whilst balancing on a [[barrel]].

Pineapples appear in ''[[Yoshi (game)|Yoshi]]'', after the player clears levels 16 through 18 of the B-Type game, rewarding the player 800 points.

Pineapples make a smaller appearance in the game ''[[Donkey Kong 64]]''. They are shot out of [[Chunky Kong]]'s [[Pineapple Launcher]].
