| '''Petey's Bomb Battle''' is a boss [[minigame]] in ''[[Mario Party 10]]''. | | '''Petey's Bomb Battle''' is a boss minigame that is set to appear in the upcoming ''[[Mario Party 10]]''. The boss is [[Petey Piranha]] as suggested by the name. The player are in a park. Petey Piranha, much bigger than the players, is standing before them. The player goal is to make Petey's HP drop to 0. There is a bar similar to the one similar to ''[[Mario Party 9]]'' that tells the HP. The players shoot in order to damage the boss and get a point per hit, but sometimes Petey opens its mouth, absorbing all the shots fired in this period of time and sends them back to the shooters, making them lose 1 point per shoot. When Petey loses half of its health, it becomes angered (like other bosses from ''Mario Party 9'') and opens its mouth much more frequently. The final shoot (the one that takes down the boss) is worth a bonus of 5 points. After Petey is defeated, the result screen is showed with a sum of points, penalities and bonuses. The player with the most points wins. |

Petey sometimes leans forward before opening his mouth to swallow bombs and spit them back at players. A player loses a point from each hit. After losing half of his health, Petey bites and roars as steam rises from his head. Petey Piranha now opens his mouth more often and has a fake-out where he leans forward repeatedly before opening his mouth. Petey also spits a black bomb in addition to any bomb he spits. It takes 130 hits in total to defeat Petey Piranha, who proceeds to explode, and whoever did the final shot gets a five point bonus. Whoever ends with the most points wins, but if the boss is not defeated by five minutes, it is a draw.
