Penny Pinchers is a 1 vs. 3 minigame in Mario Party DS. If you are in the top screen, you move around and jump at coins, avoiding beads. If you are one of the three at the bottom screen, you tap a coin to collect it. Red coins are worth five coins. The amount of coins you win is the amount you will be given after the game.

Penny Pinchers is a 1-vs.-3 minigame in Mario Party DS. The name comes from an idiom that describes ones who spend their money carefully.

Gameplay
The solo player must collect coins that come from a treasure chest and avoid beads. If a bead hits the solo player, they are temporarily stunned. Red Coins also appear and are worth five regular coins. If a coin falls down into the bottom screen, the other three players must touch the coin with ds to collect it. At the end of the minigame, the players win all the coins they have collected.
