The '''Peach vs. Bowser Tour''' was the seventieth tour of ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'', which began on May 18, 2022 and ended on May 31, 2022. This tour was the seventh to feature a Team Rally event, pitting Team [[Princess Peach|Peach]] against Team [[Bowser]], as well as being the second Team Rally to feature teams from previous tours: Team Peach from the [[Peach vs. Daisy Tour]] and the [[Mario vs. Peach Tour]], and Team Bowser from the [[Bowser vs. DK Tour]], both the winners of their respective Team Rally tours. This tour also introduced [[Wii Koopa Cape|Koopa Cape]] from ''[[Mario Kart Wii]]'' as a classic course, as well as [[Peach#Dr. Mario series|Dr. Peach]] and [[Bowser#Dr. Mario World|Dr. Bowser]] from ''[[Dr. Mario World]]'' as new drivers as part of a two-tour Doctor Fest event with the previous tour, the [[Doctor Tour (2022)|2022 Doctor Tour]], making this the first Team Rally tour to introduce more than one driver. Two new variants of the [[Capsule Kart]], the [[Pink Capsule Kart]] and the [[Green-Yellow Capsule Kart]], were also introduced, making this the first tour since the [[Los Angeles Tour (2021)|2021 Los Angeles Tour]] 21 tours prior where the only karts introduced are variants of the same kart.

This tour retained the [[List of challenge cards in Mario Kart Tour#Doctor Challenges|Doctor Challenges]] that started in the previous tour while also featuring upgraded items in the [[#Token Shop|Token Shop]], including [[Mario|Mario (Classic)]], [[King Bob-omb]], the [[Wildfire Flyer]], the [[Koopa King]], and a High-End pipe.

A new [[Mii|Mii Racing Suit]] based on a [[? Block]] was released as part of Wave 6 of Mii Racing Suits, making this the first Mii Racing Suit introduced after Wave 1 in the [[Mii Tour]] to not be based on a character. The ? Block Mii Racing Suit could be earned by placing 1st in ranked in tier 50 or above. For the first time, the [[#Mii Racing Suit Shop|Mii Racing Suit Shop]] only featured returning Mii Racing Suits from previous waves. 

This tour's [[Coin Rush (Mario Kart Tour)|Coin Rush]] course was Wii Koopa Cape. The menu's background featured a mountain and a large green Koopa Shell from Koopa Cape as the landmark for this tour.

Team Bowser finished with 52% of team tokens, winning the Team Rally. The title screen was changed to represent this victory in the [[Metropolitan Tour]]. This was the first and currently only Team Rally in which a team with Peach as its captain lost. This was also the last Team Rally to have the title screen change to an image of the winning team's captain driver in a later tour.

Starting from this tour, [[Chargin' Chuck]] is available in regular tour pipes, including the All-Clear Pipe.

For the first time following the introduction of the Tokens Aplenty event in the [[Autumn Tour (2021)|2021 Autumn Tour]] sixteen tours prior, there were no Tokens Aplenty events in this tour, though [[event token]]s appeared more regularly.

[[Peach vs. Bowser Tour (November–December 2022)|A rematch]] of this Team Rally began in November 2022, making this the second Team Rally to receive one. The rematch also makes Peach vs. Bowser the first Team Rally to be done more than once in the same year.

Players' most recently used kart and glider are chosen, and favorite and favored ones have extra priority. Opponents are arranged randomly. On day 1 of this tour, players finish a race in [[3DS Daisy Hills]] in the [[Mii Cup]] using the [[Mii|Birdo Mii Racing Suit]] for a free pipe launch. Starting from day 2, players have to finish a race in the earliest incomplete course that is not in any of the ranked cups using the driver shown on the course's thumbnail every day to obtain the corresponding reward in the table below. Once all of the courses are completed, the courses are selected at random.

==Peach vs. Bowser Showdown==
On May 18, 2022, a "Peach vs. Bowser Showdown" contest was launched by the official ''Mario Kart Tour'' social media accounts to promote the Peach vs. Bowser Tour. Across two rounds, the accounts would ask users to choose between several subjects related to either Team Peach or Team Bowser, with the English and Japanese Twitter accounts opening a poll for each round so as to tally the user choices as a percentage. The team whose related subject garnered the most votes by the end of a round's poll period would win the round. Unlike in the previously-held [[Wario vs. Waluigi Tour#Wario vs. Waluigi Showdown|Wario vs. Waluigi Showdown]], the teams in the Peach vs. Bowser Showdown were not awarded points for winning a round, and the contest did not conclude with an overall winner.
