Parry's name is a shortened form of the word "parallel" ("to be an equal distance apart"), and likely also plays off "paradise." Parry is the only Animal Friend from the game who does not appear in ''[[Donkey Kong Land III]]''. He cannot be mounted, comparably to [[Squawks]] in ''[[Donkey Kong Country]]'', and his [[animal crate]] is smaller than the other Animal Friends, given his short size.
