Para-Goombas also make a minor appearance in ''[[Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3]]'', where they are found at the end of the [[World-e]] level [[Rich with Ropes]].

Parachute Galoombas make a reappearance in ''[[Super Mario Maker 2]]''. They can be made only in the ''Super Mario World'' style by placing a parachute on a Galoomba. Their descending animation is changed to resemble the Galoombas' swimming animation from the first ''[[Super Mario Maker]]''.
