Para-Biddybuds make their first appearance in ''Super Mario 3D Land'', where they're found in groups and fly in circles or in lines. Some groups are seen one above the other or one after the other. [[Mario]] can defeat them with any attack, just like [[Goomba]]s. They generally appear in groups of five, though there are some levels in which less then that number are shown together or they appear individually.

Para-Biddybuds reappear in ''[[Super Mario 3D World]]''. They act the same as they do in ''Super Mario 3D Land'', appearing in groups that roam in a set pattern.

Despite Para-Biddybuds not appearing in ''[[Mario Kart 8]]'' and ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe]]'', a kart designed after a Para-Biddybud appears, known as the [[Biddybuggy]]. It has different color schemes depending on the character driving it.

Para-Biddybuds appear in certain stages in ''[[Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker]]'', such as [[Drop-Road Dash]]. They can be defeated by having [[turnip]]s thrown at them, or carefully landing on their heads.

Para-Biddybuds appear in the ''Bowser Jr.'s Journey'' mode in ''[[Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey]]'', appearing as usable troops, thus marking their [[Mario & Luigi (series)|''Mario & Luigi'' series]] debut. Red, green, yellow, and blue color variants can be used, and each has a different Special. Despite their coloration, blue Para-Biddybuds are referred to as purple in this game. They are flying troopers, and red Para-Biddybuds are strong against [[Fawfulcopter]]s, while the purple variants are strong against [[Shy Guy]]s. All four variants are weak against red [[Koopa Troopa]]s and [[Fly Guy]]s, however.
