The mission occurs in a secluded area of Mount Brrr, and Mario and co. must rescue fourteen [[Paper Toad]]s around the area. The first Paper Toad can be found stuck in a snowman just over to the east, and the snowman must be [[Trio Hammer]]ed twice to free the Paper Toad. Afterwards, Mario and co. will encounter a strange device that shoots [[Cannonball]]s at them; they must evade it using Trio Glide, then Trio Hammer to destroy it. After looping around to the top and using Trio Glide past some [[Spike (obstacle)|spikes]], Mario and co. must catch another Paper Toad sliding on ice. Heading into the next area, Mario and co. must Trio Glide up a tall ledge, then Trio Glide again to rescue three more Paper Toads trapped in bubbles.
