'''Painguin Tucks''' are enemies appearing in ''[[Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze]]'' and its Nintendo Switch [[Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (Nintendo Switch)|port]]. Their name is a portmanteau of "pain" and "penguin." They are penguin-like members of the [[Snowmads]] who wear green trousers and brown belts with the Snowmad insignia, and they each carry a dead fish on a stick for their weapon. They have a bulkier counterpart known as [[Papa Painguin]]s.
 
A Painguin Tucks walks at a slow pace until it sees the [[Kong]]s, at which point it charges toward them. The enemy holds the pointy side of its weapon forward, preventing frontal [[Roll Attack]]s and damaging the Kongs upon contact. The Kongs can also take damage if they walk normally into the enemy from behind. However, Painguin Tucks can be defeated with a [[jump]] or a Roll Attack into their bare backs. These enemies can also be stunned with a [[Hand Slap|Ground Pound]] if the Kongs are close enough.

Two Painguin Tucks also appear on the [[Game Over]] screen, guarding the ice cube the Kongs are frozen inside.
