As the [[Secret Box]] applies a Badge effect chosen at random, it may use one of the prior effects.
POW-Up returns in ''[[Mario & Luigi: Dream Team]]''. By using a Gold-Guard Badge combo, Mario and Luigi can increase their attack power. This also affects enemies, which can be used by a Risk-Silver Badge combo.
 
Certain opponents can gain POW-Up. In the third battle against [[Kamek]], his [[Kamek (Green)|green clone]] grants the entire Kamek team stat boosting effects, possibly including POW-Up. In the final battle against [[Antasma]], he eats one or more of his [[Antasmunchie]]s to gain POW-Up. The same is true for [[Antasma X]], who eats his [[Antasmunchie X|Antasmunchies X]].
