| On the Spot is a single-player minigame found in Mario Party Advance. Its name is a pun on an idiom that means "immediately" or "at the scene of an action or event." | |

|
| ==Introduction==
| | The player attempts to poke the Whomp's back in the right order as the Whomp tells to the player where to poke at to earn points within the time limit. If the player accidentally pokes the wrong side of the Whomp’s back, the player loses 5 seconds as the Whomp attempts to tell the player where to poke the spots correctly again. If the player clears all the Whomps, the player wins. In Free Play, the player has unlimited Whomps waiting in line, waiting to tell the player where to poke in the right order as it gets trickier. |
| A line of Whomps descends from above. The first one leaps up and lands, its back facing the player.

| ==Gameplay==
| |
| The player has to follow the Whomp's directions and poke its back in the right order in order to earn points within the time limit. As the player progresses, the number of pokes required increases, and the minigame gets faster. If the player accidentally pokes the wrong side of the Whomp's back, they lose five seconds as the Whomp attempts to tell the player where to poke the spots correctly again.
| |
| | |
| In the Shroom City mode, the player must poke five Whomps correctly in 30 seconds to win. In Mini-Game Attack, the player has only 15 seconds to poke five Whomps correctly. In Play Land, the player must poke as many Whomps as possible within 30 seconds; additionally, each Whomp cleared adds time to the timer depending on the number of pokes.
