After all of the tentacles are dealt with, the Wario octopus pops up closer to the player and starts drinking the water, and the player must repeatedly smack it to knock it back and daze it for a bit, rubber ducks circling around its head. Finally, the player must deflect the cannonballs it shoots out of its mouth to sink it once and for all.
