'''Noozes''' are birds found in ''[[Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story]]''. They are encountered in [[Toad Town Caves]]. Noozes resemble the Mario brothers' noses (thus the origin of their name) and have two forms. One has a red comb and wings resembling [[Mario]]'s mustache, while the other has a green comb and wings resembling [[Luigi]]'s mustache.

A given Nooz can switch between the two forms. They attack by "sneezing" a small cloud at Mario or Luigi. This cloud cannot be [[jump]]ed on, as it will hurt the Mario Bros. should they try to do so. It also has a possibility of giving them the [[Trip]] status effect. They also have an attack resembling a [[Bros. Attack]], where a red Nooz bounces off of a green Nooz into the Top Screen. It then flies above Mario and tries to land on him. Sometimes the Nooz "sneezes" to slow its descent, which can cause Mario to counter with his [[hammer]] too quickly. Afterward, the green Nooz will attempt to charge Luigi. This attack resembles the advanced [[Splash Bros.]] attack from ''[[Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga]]''. Noozes can also sing the first few notes of the [[Ending (Super Mario Bros.)|ending theme]] from ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'' during battle to summon other Noozes. Its color indicates which of the Mario brothers it will attack, similar to [[Thwack]]s and [[Wonder Thwack]]s from [[Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time|the previous game]].

A Nooz is one of the enemies contained in a [[Junker Can]] in the battle with [[Junker]]. In the original, it is always green, but will attack Mario if he destroys the Junker Can the Nooz was hidden in; the remake has it match its proper color when attacking Mario.

If the game is hacked to get [[Bowser]] in the [[Toad Town Tunnels]], he will stomp on them without fighting them, even though it's not possible in the normal game
