This tour introduced the R/T variants of multiple returning classic courses, namely GBA Sky Garden, GBA Cheep-Cheep Island, GBA Bowser's Castle 3, GCN Baby Park, Wii Koopa Cape, and 3DS Piranha Plant Slide, making this the first tour since the Vancouver Tour seventy-five tours prior to introduce three or more R/T variants of returning courses, as well as the first tour since the Samurai Tour twenty tours prior to only introduce R/T variants and no brand new courses, and the first tour since the Toad vs. Toadette Tour thirty tours prior to only feature R/T variants (excluding the battle courses). Kadomatsu also returned from the previous New Year's-themed tours, starting from January 1, 2023.
