Nemos are underwater enemies appearing in [[Nautilus Chase]] only. Similarly to [[Croctopus]]es, Nemos chase [[Donkey Kong]] or [[Diddy Kong]], except they do not follow a linear path, but rather in whichever direction the [[Kong]] is [[swim]]ming. A Nemo appears dormant at first, but when the player character swims past the Nemo, it emerges from its shell and travels after the Kong in quick darting motions. Like with most enemies, a Nemos damages the Kong on contact. Like the game's other aquatic enemies, Nemos cannot be defeated. The Nemo eventually stops chasing the player character before moving into a corner within the coral. | |
