This course is in the ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'' game style and features the Ground and Underground themes. The first half of the level takes place in three-fourths of World 1-1, without the fourth pipe leading to a bonus area. The second half of the level features World 1-2 backwards, with a hidden [[Mystery Mushroom]] costume of [[Luigi]], a reference to the ''[[Super Luigi Bros.]]'' mode from ''[[NES Remix 2]]''. The lifts are now placed on tracks, and the [[Warp Zone]] now leads to a secret area with a Mystery Mushroom costume of [[Frog Mario]], the unlockable costume for the course, with a [[P-Switch]] to cross over a gap that spells ''REMIX''. If the player does not enter the Warp Zone, the last portion of World 1-1 is present.
