The '''[[Toad Town|Mushroom Kingdom]]''', also titled '''Mushroomsville''',<ref>{{cite|date=August 1996|title=''Nintendo Magazine System'' (UK) Issue 47|page=93|quote=Despite Toad’s friendly manner, the folk of Mushroomsville are mumbling nutters with no time to help you on your way.}}</ref> appears in ''[[Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars]]'' and [[Super Mario RPG (Nintendo Switch)|its remake]] as a location. It is inhabited by [[Toad (species)|Toads]] and is located to the east of [[Mushroom Way]]. Some of the residents include the Manager of the [[Item Shop|item shop]], [[Raz]], [[Raini]], and the [[Game Boy Toad|Game Boy-playing boy]] at the [[inn]].

Some time after [[Mario]] first visits the [[Chancellor]] and then helps [[Mallow]] retrieve his [[Frog Coin]], Mushroom Kingdom is shown to be taken over by [[Shymore]]s, the only enemies ever encountered in the Mushroom Kingdom. Some of the Shymores are seen targeting some of the civilians. They only leave once [[Claymorton]], who led the invasion, is defeated. Following this, Raz and Raini go to [[Marrymore]] to become married and later celebrate their honeymoon at [[Yo'ster Isle]].
