They are black bushes with legs and glowing yellow eyes. These enemies only appear in the [[Sunset Shore]] level. Mimics chase [[Donkey Kong]] and [[Diddy Kong]] and can hurt them on contact. These enemies can be taken out by a jump or rolling into them. They may surprise the the player so that he or she might not have enough time to react and will probably get hit. In ''Tropical Freeze'', there is a variation of them called [[Big Mimic]]s. |

A Mimic can be defeated from either a [[jump]] or a [[Roll Attack]]. If Donkey Kong [[Hand Slap]]s with a Mimic on the screen, leaves will shake off from the bush; the leaves also move around slightly while regular bushes have no animation. | |
