The game's purpose is to get a ball inside a hole. To do so, the player has to swing the golf club left, and then swing the golf club right. In ''Twisted!'' it is needed to press {{button|gba|A}} while swinging right, while in ''Gold'' there are no needed buttons. If they manage to get the ball in the cup within the time limit, they win the game. Some of the holes are present only in ''WarioWare Gold''.
