'''Memory Match''' is a [[minigame]] in ''[[WarioWare Gold]]''. It is a [[List of souvenirs in WarioWare Gold|souvenir]] in the game's Toy Room. Memory Match is a card matching game with a number of additional mechanics, with the goal of receiving a high score with a 60 second time limit. Gameplay occurs on the Touch Screen, with input limited to the stylus. The game has a beach setting, with prominent pear iconography. This may be a pun based on the similarity between the words "pear" and "pair". 

After tapping to confirm starting. the player is presented with a field with an even number of face up cards. For the first stage, the cards only depict [[Wario]] or [[Jimmy T]]. Tapping on any card selects it, flipping it face up if it is face down, and in the case of a stage that has just started flips every other card face down. Face down cards appear identical, each depicting a pear: the point of the game is to remember what the front side of the cards depict.

With a card selected, the player can select another card. If the two cards show the same character, that is a match. Both cards are removed, and the player earns a number of points based on which characters were on the cards. If the two cards do not show the same character, then the first card is unselected, turns grey, and slowly turns back to its identical reverse sides This has no effect other than wasting time, though the visual effect gives the player extra information to use. Note that there is no way to unselect a card except to select a second card. A hint showing where two cards with the same character are will appear after selecting non-matching pairs of cards multiple times in a row. Once all cards in a stage are cleared, another set of cards are dealt out for the next stage. Later stages include cards for [[Mona]], [[Dr. Crygor]], and [[9-Volt]], which are added to the game in that order. More cards overall are also included in later stages. Matching all pairs correctly in a set without mistakes will grant a "Perfect!" bonus which also adds five seconds to the timer. Once time is up, the player is given a score based on their performance.

There are three additional mechanics. The first is that each time the player makes a match, it adds a number to the "combo". Making a match while the "combo" is two or more displays the counter in the top right of the screen. The higher the combo is, the more points the player gets for each match. However, if too much time passes without the player making a match, the combo will reset back to 0. Second is that there is a toilet button in the top left corner of the screen. The button fills up each time the player makes a match. Once filled, the player can press it to reveal all the cards but immediately remove all cards from play, starting a new stage. This is useful because the new stage starts the same way as any other, with all the cards revealed. Third is that there is a fever bar on the left side of the screen, which also fills each time the player makes a match. Once it is full, the game enters a second state where all the cards are flipped face up. The bar drains during this state and the cards return to normal when the bar is empty. Selecting a pair of cards that do not create a match causes them to wobble a little. Since all the cards are face up, making matches is extremely easy.

The Top Screen shows a pear in the center, with the character of a selected card appearing on alternating sides of the screen. If the player makes a match, then a second copy of the character appears from the opposite side of the screen, and both characters pop into the pear. The pear grows and changes color as a result. The sun in the background shows the number of seconds left on the timer. It also has the game's score counter, which is not on the Touch Screen.
