If the player does not defeat a Megabite after about seven swoops, the enemy will [[flee]] and leave them with no points.

Megabites have a chance of dropping items such as a [[Shooting Star (item)|Shooting Star]], a [[Thunder Rage]], or, more rarely, a [[Catch Card SP]] upon defeat, as well as lots of [[coin]]s.
