'''Mega Yoshi''' is one of [[Yoshi]]'s transformations in ''[[Yoshi's Woolly World]]'' and ''[[Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World]]''. It can be found in the levels [[Shy but Deadly]] and [[A Little Light Snowfall]]. Mega Yoshi acts in a similar fashion to that of [[Mega Mario]] from the ''[[Super Mario (series)|Super Mario]]'' series of games.

In this form, Yoshi has the ability to perform unique actions such as the "Tail Swipe", with the player pressing {{button|wiiu|B}}, which can destroy enemies and course features horizontally at short range. Defeating enemies in any way in this form grants the player [[bead]]s.

On August 24, 2015, Nintendo announced that an [[amiibo]] version of Mega Yoshi (named Mega Yarn Yoshi) would be released in North America on November 15, 2015, in Europe on November 27, and in Australia on November 28.
