Players have fifteen seconds to work their way through the maze and get to the stairs at the end. Anyone who makes it to the stairs within the time limit gets to use a cannon against Mega Monty Mole; anyone who fails to reach the stairs is stuck where they are. The first player to make it out of the maze gets a huge gold cannon worth five [[point]]s, second gets a large silver cannon worth three points, third gets a medium bronze cannon worth two points, and fourth gets a small iron cannon worth one point. Each shot has a different effect on Mega Monty Mole—the gold cannon nearly knocks him out of his balloon, while the iron cannon barely makes him flinch. After the players' attacks, Mega Monty Mole throws a massive [[bomb]] into the labyrinth, scrambling the maze as the players jump into pipes at the back of the ship. Anyone still stuck in the maze gets blown out, losing one point in the process. Either way, the four players return to the beginning of the new maze to repeat the process.

After Mega Monty Mole loses half of his health, he scatters small bombs in the maze when he reconfigures it after each attack. The bombs act as obstacles to players and explode if they get close; players caught in the explosion lose one point and are blown into the air, stalling their progress for a second. Apart from the bombs, the minigame plays the same as before.

The player who scores the final blow gets an extra five points before the final scores are tallied. The player with the most points overall wins. If Mega Monty Mole is not defeated before five minutes pass, the minigame ends in a draw.
