Along the way, snakes appear, and the players clear microgames to defeat them and keep moving. Failure to complete the microgame causes the snake to trap the player until the next snakes appear. At certain times, even during microgames, Medusa turns around and faces the players, and they must stop moving. If they keep moving, they become calcified; the first time this happens, a potion restores the player, and the second time it happens they are out of the game. When only one player remains in the game, snakes no longer appear, and the player is urged to hurry ahead. The game ends when a player makes it to the end and defeats Medusa, or when all players are calcified. | ||
