Page 85.</ref> are course hazards that appear in [[GCN Waluigi Stadium|Waluigi Stadium]] in ''[[Mario Kart: Double Dash!!]]'' They resemble flat wooden [[Piranha Plant]]s. Paired with [[Fire Bar#Mario Kart series|Podoboo Cog]]s, they are found on the long straight of the course pointing south. They slowly come out of slat mechanical green [[Warp Pipe]]s with slot-like holes; they serve as a wall and cause players to stop when they are bumped into, and they cannot be destroyed. A total of three appears in the course. They reappear when Waluigi Stadium returns as a [[classic course|Retro Course]] in ''[[Mario Kart Wii]]'', but their left-to-right locations on the track are reversed. They appear again in the course's apperance in the [[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass|''Mario Kart 8 Deluxe'' – Booster Course Pass]] DLC pack, where they are more metallic and no longer move their mouths. Additionally, the first two Mecha Piranha Plants are now located next to each other and rotated at a 45-degree angle.
