They reappear when Waluigi Stadium returns as a [[classic course|Retro Course]] in ''[[Mario Kart Wii]]'', but their left-to-right locations on the track are reversed. They appear again in the course's appearance in the ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass]]'' DLC pack, where they are more metallic and no longer move their mouths. Additionally, the first two Mecha Piranha Plants are now located next to each other and rotated at a 45° angle.
