Mazed & Confused is a 4-Player minigame in Mario Party 5.
Mazed & Confused is a 4-Player minigame found in Mario Party 5. The name is a pun on the term "dazed and confused," which comes from Dazed and Confused (song) made famous by Led Zeppelin in 1967 and which was later used as the title of Dazed and Confused (film) in 1993.

Overview
Gameplay
Each player races to the center of a maze. Electrical barriers are conducted between pegs in the maze and change positions every two seconds, temporarily stunning whoever touches them. The first player to reach the goal wins, though if nobody does on time, it is a tie.

Players start at the corners of a rectangular maze. The goal is to make it to the center. However, there are pegs creating a grid throughout the maze. Electrical barriers appear and change frequently, meaning players have to find a way around them. If a player touches an electrical barrier, they are stunned for a moment. The first player to reach the center of the maze wins. The color trail is character-dependent (e.g., Mario's is red, Peach's is pink, and Waluigi's is black).
