'''Max Candies''' are consumables in ''[[Mario & Luigi: Dream Team]]'' and ''[[Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam]]''. They are star-shaped items that can be eaten by either [[Mario]] or [[Luigi]]. Upon being consumed, Max Candies restore all of their consumer's [[Heart Point]]s and [[Bros. Point]]s, similar to the [[Star Candy|Star Candies]] of ''[[Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story]]''. In ''Mario & Luigi: Dream Team'', a few enemies and bosses can drop them after a battle: [[Wiggler]] has a 30% chance, [[Pi'illodactyl R]]'s and [[Shy Guy Airtub R]]'s have an 20% chance, [[Antasmunchie]]s have a 2% chance, and [[Mechakoopa]]s have a 1% chance.

Additionally, if a Great! rating or worse is scored in [[Sorrow Fist]]'s battle, or if [[Heavy Zest]] manages to survive for more than 3 turns, everyone gets Max Candies. If Heavy Zest is knocked down but his [[Hooraw]]s are still active, he gets a [[1-Up Deluxe]] instead.

In ''Brothership'', Max Candies are now wrapped up, just like the regular [[Candy (Mario & Luigi series)|Candy]].
