Mastadooms are skeletal mammoths encountered on Star Hill in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and its remake. Mastadooms are possibly the most powerful enemy on Star Hill, having an arsenal of physical attacks and the powerful Painspout attack, which hurts all party members. A Mastadoom's regular attack consists of hitting the target with its long trunk. Mastadooms are strong against Thunder and weak to Fire.
Mastadooms are large skeletal mammoths encountered on Star Hill in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Mastadooms are possibly the most powerful enemy on Star Hill having an arsenal of physical attacks and the powerful "Drain Beam" attack which hurts all party members. Mastadoom's regular attack consists in hitting his opponents with his long trunk. Mastadoom is strong against Thunder, but his main weakness is Fire, which may seem surprising as Mastadoom is always shown in water. One online site portrays Mastadooms as not being in water and not having the weird forehead circle, being able to kill enemies by just saying "DOOM!", and being destroyed by just a bit of Blooper ink. These COULD be beta elements, though probably not.

There is also an unused enemy named Mastablasta, a blue-colored version of Mastadoom. They could summon Goombas to help them in battle, and had the thought "Life is tough, ain't it?"
Like most powerful enemies in Super Mario RPG (Reachers, Hippopos, etc.) more than one Mastadoom does not appear in battle, instead Mastadooms simply aid other creatures in battle.  There's also a unused enemy named Mastablasta, which is a blue colored version of Mastadoom. This is indubitably a Beta Element.

Mastadooms are likely based on the real-life extinct animal, the mastodon. Unlike them, mastodons lack bones in their trunks.
