The '''Mario Tour''' was the ninety-first tour of ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'', which began on March 8, 2023 and ended on March 21, 2023. It was rerun from March 6, 2024 to March 19, 2024 as the game's hundred-and-seventeenth tour, and was rerun a second time from March 5, 2025 to March 18, 2025 as the hundred-and-forty-third tour.

The tour ran through [[MAR10 Day]]. Reflecting the theme, the tour featured the introduction and [[classic course]] debut of [[DS Mario Circuit|Mario Circuit]] from ''[[Mario Kart DS]]'', coinciding with its presence in Wave 4 of the ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass|Booster Course Pass]]'' DLC for ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe]]'', which was announced a day before the tour's trailer was released and would release within a day of the start of the tour. The tour also introduced the R/T variant of [[N64 Luigi Raceway]]. This was the final tour to introduce a new DS course.

This was the first tour to introduce a recolor of the [[Pipe Buggy]] since the base kart's debut in the [[Halloween Tour (2019)|2019 Halloween Tour]] eighty-eight tours prior, thus making it the longest gap of the kart's (and any item in general's) introduction and its first recolor variant. It also introduced the [[Roving Racers|green Roving Racer]] from ''Super Mario Odyssey'', which previously had its textures added to the game eighty-five tours prior in the [[London Tour]]. This tour featured most of the Circuit and Raceway courses available in the game at the time of the tour, the first reappearance of [[RMX Mario Circuit 1]] since the [[Doctor Tour (2022)|2022 Doctor Tour]], and the first reappearance of [[RMX Donut Plains 1]] and the [[Precision Gliding]] bonus challenge since the [[Battle Tour]]. The [[Tanooki Mario Cup]] debuted in this tour, even though [[Tanooki Mario]] had been playable since the [[Autumn Tour (2021)|2021 Autumn Tour]] and had been available in regular pipes since the [[Battle Tour]].

The [[Coin Rush (Mario Kart Tour)|Coin Rush]] course for this tour was SNES Mario Circuit 1, which was reused from the [[Trick Tour (2020)|2020 Trick Tour]] and the [[Toad vs. Toadette Tour]]. The menu's background featured [[Peach's Castle]] as the landmark for this tour.

An event called the "Mario event" began and ended in this tour to coincide with Mario Day. This is the first event to last only one tour.

As of March 29, 2023, the trailers for the initial run of this tour were privated on the Nintendo Mobile YouTube channel, and several tweets related to the tour were deleted from the English and Japanese ''Mario Kart Tour'' X accounts.

In the rerun, the spotlight drivers [[Mario|Mario (SNES)]] and [[Donkey Kong Jr.|Donkey Kong Jr. (SNES)]] were changed to Mario (King) and [[Luigi|Luigi (Chef)]].

Players' most recently used kart and glider are chosen, and favorite and favored ones have extra priority. Opponents are arranged randomly. On day 1 of this tour, players finish a race in [[3DS Mario Circuit]] in the [[Mii Cup]] using the [[Mii|Spike Mii Racing Suit]] for a free pipe launch. Starting from day 2, players have to finish a race in the earliest incomplete course that is not in any of the ranked cups using the driver shown on the course's thumbnail every day to obtain the corresponding reward in the table below. Once all of the courses are completed, the courses are selected at random.
