Mario Speedwagons is a 4-Player minigame found in Mario Party 4 and Mario Party: The Top 100.
Mario Speedwagons is a 4-player mini-game found in Mario Party 4. Each player starts out in a customized racing car. The goal is the be the first one to cross the finish line. Along the way, the car's gears will need to shift as it picks up speed. This is indicated by the gea numbers flashing in the bottom-right corner. However, correct timing is needed, as shifting too fast or too slow will result in a decrease in speed or no increase in speed, respectively.

Trivia
*The name of the mini-game is a pun on the name of the American rock band REO Speedwagon.
The minigame begins with a traffic signal, and racers begin when the green light flashes. It is represented as a 3–2–1 countdown in Mario Party: The Top 100. Players try to cross the finish line in a drag race in their uniquely colored Top Fuel first. When the gear numbers flash, a player is requires to switch gears, but doing this either early or too late results in either a decrease or no increase in speed, respectively. If a player accelerates too quickly at the start, their car does not move much.

It is the third minigame of Decathlon in Mario Party: The Top 100.

At the end, the winning player has a parachute appear behind their car. Mario Party 4 shows an additional sequence where players are ranked on a podium accordingly, and the winner does their winning pose while everyone else does their losing pose.

Boo's picture frame can be unlocked for the Present Room in Mario Party 4 by clearing the minigame within ten seconds.
