'''Mario's Rainbow Castle''' is [[Mario]]'s [[Board (Mario Party series)|board]] in ''[[Mario Party]]''. It is based on the sky areas of ''[[Super Mario 64]]'', especially the [[Tower of the Wing Cap]] and [[Over the Rainbows|Wing Mario Over the Rainbow]]. Mario's Rainbow Castle is a one-way path, unlike other boards in the game. When a player makes it to the center, they ride [[Fwoosh]] up to the tower, where either Toad can give them a [[Star (Mario Party series)|Star]] as usual, or Bowser hands out a [[Ztar]], forcefully stealing up to 40 Coins from the player. Either way, the player is returned to the start by [[Lakitu]], and the tower switches to the other character, though the [[Event Space|Happening Space]] can turn it beforehand. The winner's Stars form a large Star at the end, spawning rainbows as well as a rainbow path from Fwoosh's center platform. The first three players take the path, celebrating with Toad, [[Koopa Troopa|Koopa]], [[Boo]], Fwoosh, and the Star, though the player in last place falls before being carried off by Lakitu.

Mario's Rainbow Castle returns in ''[[Super Mario Party Jamboree]]'', but it becomes playable only after achieving Gold Player Rank. The entire board is rendered in 3D, like the game. There is no longer a Koopa Troopa at the Start Space, and the clouds are differently elevated. A [[Toad (species)|Yellow Toad]] and [[Impostor Bowser]] fill in for Toad and Bowser, respectively, as well as a [[Lakitu's Cloud]] for Fwoosh. The [[Item Shop (Mario Party series)|Item Shop]] area has two different shops, one run by a Koopa Troopa and the other by [[Kamek]], which switch out either after obtaining an item or getting a Star or Ztar. Some background details were added, like Toads sitting at tables with an umbrella or the weather being stormy while Impostor Bowser is out, also playing a heavier arrangement. The fixed price of a Ztar is now 20 Coins, like a Star. In the ending, the Star starts creating rainbows around the castle, which Yellow Toad wishes to observe but has to announce the results. The player in fourth no longer falls at the end, with ceremonies being handled differently.
