'''Magmuses''' are redder variants of [[Magmite]]s that appear in ''[[Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars]]'', being quite common in [[Barrel Volcano]]. Magmuses have extremely high defense, although are relatively weak in comparison to other enemies found throughout the world. They are spewed out by the volcano-like [[Stumpet]], possibly indicating a relationship between the two species.

Like Magmites, Magmuses are weak to ice and resistant to jumps. However, they also resist fire, and can further increase their defense by using [[Valor Up]].
