Luigi Rescue Operation is a Showdown minigame in Super Mario Party Jamboree. It is centered around Luigi, and has four players solving puzzles in order to save him. It is inspired by the the Luigi's Mansion series. As with other Showdown minigames, it cannot be played in Mario Party mode if Luigi is an active player character, though he can still be used in this minigame in Minigame Bay modes.

In Party Mode and Party-Planner Trek, Luigi exits the room he was trapped in, while the player who saved him sighs in relief. In Free Play, the player(s) enters the room instead, though nothing more is shown from this.
The players do their respective winning and losing animations at the starting hallway.

Trivia
*This minigame is one of the only two Showdown minigames where the respective Jamboree Buddy does not do their "character selected" pose when the minigame's title shows up: in Luigi's case, he shivers in fear. The other one is Jr.'s Jauntlet, where Bowser Jr. simply does a quick celebration.
**The minigame title is also unique in that it consists of black text on a white bar (as opposed to vice versa in other Showdown minigames) and its letters shake.
