As the name suggests, the glider is a green variant of the [[Mario's Hat Balloon]] based on [[Luigi]]'s [[Luigi Cap|hat]]. Unlike the Mario's Hat Balloon, hitting racers with [[Green Shell]]s awards more points when using this glider.
